  If the Wi-Fi spot does not connect/authenticate automatically, the "Automatic connection settings (Android version)/ Automatic authentication settings (iOS version)" may be turned off.

  The Wi-Fi spot map has become even easier to use!

  WYou can now check the Wi-Fi spot map from the top screen of the app. It can display a map of your current surroundings immediately when you select "Nearby Wi-Fi".
  It is also easier to use and check the conditions of use of Wi-Fi spots and so on. You can tap "Switch Display" to switch between map display and list display. You can look for a Wi-Fi spot while looking at the distance to it, the name of the store, and so on, for added convenience.

  The Wi-Fi network connectivity function has been partially changed. [Android10 and Android11]

  By making it compatible with the latest AndroidSDK, additional settings to automatically connect to "Wi-Fi that has not been previously connected to" are now necessary. Please launch the app and check.

  If you are using Android10, you will be able to apply additional settings when you go to a Wi-FI spot once.

  

  On Android 10, to automatically connect to a Wi-Fi that you are using for the first time, after going to the Wi-Fi spot, you will need to select "Yes" when you receive a silent notification saying "Connect to Wi-Fi network? Recommended by Japan Wi-Fi auto-connect".
  This will occur only once at this Wi-Fi spot.

  Supported languages have been added, and in total 16 languages can now be displayed.

  In addition to the currently supported 5 languages: Japanese/English/Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/Korean, we have added support for Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, and Portuguese.
  The display language automatically changes according to the language setting of your smartphone.

  Added Wi-Fi report function (Android^TM version only)

  On the smartphone that has the app installed, you can check the data usage by month or by day.
  Data usage is categorized into three categories: Japan Wi-Fi auto-connect compatible Wi-Fi, non-compatible Wi-Fi, and mobile communication, and the total across all categories is also calculated. It may be good to check if you are using free Wi-Fi most effectively.

  In "Connected" or "Surported", tap "Wi-Fi service" to check information such as terms of use and introduction to the area.
