Today, I would like to explore the Asakusa and Skytree area in Tokyo while utilizing free Wi-Fi.

Free Wi-Fi spots are found using an app called "Japan Wi-Fi auto-connect".

Asakusa_Free_Wi-Fi" is available for free around Sensoji Temple!

Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa is a popular tourist spot for visitors to Japan. The large paper lanterns of the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) in particular are a great place to take pictures. Even if you have never visited the temple, you may have seen pictures of it.

I am looking forward to getting a red seal at Senso-ji, and I hope there is a Wi-Fi spot.

There is no free Wi-Fi in the Sensoji precincts. However,there are many Wi-Fi spots in the area.
One of the most useful is "Asakusa_Free_Wi-Fi". It is available at many stores along "Nakamise-dori," "Kaminarimon-dori," and "Shin-Nakamise" streets.
Also, "0000FLETS-PORTAL" can be used under the same conditions of use as "Asakusa_Free_Wi-Fi".

There are many free Wi-Fi sites with the same SSID, so it is easy to explore the Sensoji area!

Taito_Free_Wi-Fi available in Taito City

We also recommend "Taito_Free_Wi-Fi" available at "Kannon-dori Entrance" and "Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center".
It is available at various locations in Taito City. It is also available on the Megurin, the Taito City circular bus. You can browse the Internet at your leisure as you ride the bus leisurely through the downtown area. This is a great way to find out information about the next spot you are going to visit.

Free Wi-Fi available at Asakusa Station on private railways and subways

There are four types of Asakusa Stations: Ginza Line, Toei Asakusa Line, Tobu Skytree Line, and Tsukuba Express. You can use free Wi-Fi at all four of these Asakusa Stations.

Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is the closest to Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line is also connected by an underground passage. Each of these is a different Wi-Fi network (SSID), so we recommend using an application that can automatically connect to all of them.

Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station is a 6-7 minute walk from Tobu, Tokyo Metro, and Toei Subway stations. Since the station is located on the west side across the central Asakusa area, it is best to change trains after passing through the Senso-ji temple precincts. You can also go through Denboin Street, which is lined with tasteful stores.

Free Wi-Fi available at Tokyo Skytree Town

Visit the Tokyo Skytree, the world's tallest radio tower. The observation deck at the top of the tower is so popular that long lines form on holidays. Other noteworthy spots in "Tokyo Skytree Town" include the Sumida Aquarium, themed on the seas of the Ogasawara Islands, and Tokyo Solamachi, one of the largest commercial facilities in the city.

"TOBU_Free_Wi-Fi" was conveniently available not only at the station, but also at the Tokyo Sky Tree TEMBO DECK and Tokyo Solamachi.

Most of the Tokyo Solamachi floors from the 1st to 7th, 30th, and 31st, as well as the Sky Arena outdoor plaza on the 4th floor, were also usable.

Another nice point is that you can use the free Wi-Fi on the many benches without having to enter the stores!

Impressions of using free Wi-Fi

There are many Wi-Fi spots in the Asakusa area and the Tokyo Skytree area, so I had no trouble finding Wi-Fi.

There was plenty of free Wi-Fi. However, there was one drawback because it is a popular tourist destination. That is, it is very crowded in some places. It was difficult to stop and use Wi-Fi slowly with the flow of people.
If you want to use free Wi-Fi securely, I recommend that you go inside somewhere and sit down slowly.
